Short Video Clip: Liliw as the Tsinelas Capital of Laguna

Known as the Tsinelas Capital of Laguna, Liliw has enriched the fruits of culture being one of the reaping municipalities in Laguna. Not only the native people of the province are wrought with the best quality and aesthetics of its ‘Tsinelas’ but also people from different places outside. The strong ties of the materials utilized in making this famous ‘Tsinelas’ manifest the good relationship of people from Liliw. Making Liliw a very welcoming place to indulge in.

“Parine sa Liliw” was produced by the initiative of BA Communication students from Southern Luzon State University Batch 2012-2016.  The video was made to participate in Anilag Video Competition last March 2016, and was placed third place. From then, the video made its way to #SharePH Summer 2017 Contest of Rappler and became one of the three chosen winners in Video Blog Category. As of today, the video continues to encourage people to go and see the beauty of Liliw, Laguna.
